"ConservativeMediaLies- Sorry but your arguement is moot. You sound as though the guns themselves just get up and fire at people, all on their own. Do you really want to be without the means to protect your children?

Do you really think that the people who intentionally shoot someone would not cause harm in any other way when they want to? After all, if I "have a knife you will bring a gun," remember?

I remember a guy not so very long ago who did what you think was the right thing to do and removed all guns from the society he ruled over. And as I remember, even in my public educated brain, that he managed to knock off more people in 5 years than any of the numbers you quoted and most of them were not killed with guns.

U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords owns a gun. It didn't help her. I wonder how many people shot were gun owners. Your comprehension level is very low. Guns make killing very easy and it shows in the USA statistics just how easy it is. Also, there are many gun holders with emotional and mental problems and I hope you're not one.

The American 'attitude' about guns and gun usage is very primitive and speeches from gun nuts has a big influence upon people's use of their weapons. The macho type person in American culture has become tuned into the Rambo psycho need to react violently with heavy duty weapons. This is a very troublesome psychotic influence upon much of the American psyche. As poverty gains a bigger and bigger toe hold upon the America public psychosis are on the rise and with it gun deaths will begin to rise.

It's probably too late for America to have any real type of gun control with the fabulous amount of weapons on the streets and in the bedroom drawers of America.
