The Winnipeg Human Rights Museum

I did not say that the genocide of the Jews did not happen. You did not understand what I said at all. I was quite clear, I thought. I am not a Holocaust denier at all.

The Jewish catastrophe has been reported on, documented in video and in print continuously while other events have been denied to all but a few who do their research.

After WWII there was headway made in human rights and especially in the Rules of War at the Nuremberg Trials, the Geneva Conventions and the Japan Tribunals as well as through the United Nations.

It is troubling that we are not cognisant of the fact that these Human Rights rules have been largely ignored with the exception of the winner in a war or of a powerful country.

In 1953 the CIA (MI6 and MOSSAD having some part) created a coup in Iran disposing of the democratic government of Iran. The American oil interests went from 0% to 50%.
The democratic government was replaced with the exiled Shah of Iran as a puppet for America and Britain who co-operated in a new oil company - B/A - British American Oil.

In 1957 the CIA created the Iranian Secret Police called SAVAK. The CIA remained in control of SAVAK from 1957 to the Iranian Revolution of 1979. SAVAK was used by the CIA to assassinate, to demoralize, to propagandise and to torture and kill thousands of Iranians. They sent out death squads, they dragged people from their homes in midnight raids and they even threw student activists off the roofs of their schools.

In the Iranian Revolution the CIA was kicked out and some students to hostage some Americans in their embassy for 444 days. They killed no American.

Nevertheless, a great hullabaloo went up in western media condemning the Iranians. But did not report what the Americans had been doing to Iranians.

In 1980, Saddam Hussein of Iraq invaded Iran. Iraq was losing so President Reagan, in 1981, began to arm and train Iraqis with hundreds of advisers on the ground as well as information from America's Spy Satellites. Reagan also made chemicals available for Iraq to create poison gas or for Iraq to get poison gas. At one hit with gas 3 thousand Iranian soldiers upon Iranian soil were killed.

At another gas hit he attacked Iranians in the North East of Iraq and killed many Kurds in the process. In American terms, if they had done it, this would be called collateral damage. However, looking for excuses to kill Saddam, GW Bush changed the perspective, and claimed Saddam gasses his own people.

So, tell me please, where are these humanitarian protections supposedly coming out of WWII. They certainly don'y apply to Iran.

Nor, do these much vaulted human rights rules that, according to what I've been told are celebrated by the permanent Jewish exhibition at our Museum for Human Rights.

Of course, what I've reported to you about Iran is just a small part of the continued cruelty by the United States of America and its western minions such as Prime Minister Harper.

The USA, via its CIA, Special Forces, DEA and its huge unrepentant military, have since 1953 killed virtually millions throughout our world and most especially throughout Central and South America, the Middle East and North Africa, and South East Asia.
