America and the Lies About the Libya Rebels

Khalifa Hefta is the military leader of the so-called Libyan rebels. In 1969 he was a part of the coup that brought Colonel Qaddafi to power in Libya. He became a member of the Libyan Revolutionary Command Council until 1987 when Hefta and Qaddafi had a falling out. He, even though he and Qaddafi had been supportive of terrorism over the years he was allowed to live in the USA for the past 20 years. He had a relationship with the American terrorist agency - the CIA.

Who is he working for now as the leader of the so-called Libyan rebels? It seems obvious that he is still in a relationship with the CIA and America. The CIA has refused to make comment and Hefta is unavailable to reporters. One might think that a pro-Freedom rebel leader would want some good press. On the other hand perhaps he would be asked some difficult questions as to his true loyalties to the USA or to the Libyans carrying the old monarchist flag.

Please let me take a time out for a moment. I am not pro-Qaddafi and I'm not pro-American. I want the truth rather than the mangled lies we are treated with every day.

We, the West, are following the American lead today into the turbulent waters of the crash of Libya with a trashed UN Resolution 1973 which was supposed to provide a No Fly Zone. Unfortunately, it's become so obvious that the USA, with its ulterior motives, has no respect, whatsoever, for Resolution 1973. The USA should not be having anything to do with the United Nations members and the No Fly Zone as they have committed themselves to Khalifa Hefta, the CIA and the monarchist rebels. There is a definite conflict of interests here. Also, it's illegal, according to International Law, for another country to participate in another country's revolution.

It's now being offered that Khalifa Hefta has been the commander-in-exile of the Libyan National Army. So why are we trusting a past Libyan who, for 18 years, was party to a dictatorial, terrorist Libya that no longer exists as a terrorist state as the West has been fully in cooperation with taking Libyan resources including oil? There is absolutely no reason to expect a Libya, running under a monarchist flag with a seemingly pro-America Khalifa Hefta in charge.

All the events, so far, have been heavily balanced to the USA while the rest of the West are hangers on hoping for the scraps left over by a, likely, agreement between Khalifa Hefta as the leader of Libya, the USA in control of this war (and it is a war and far from being a UN function) and the British.
